Can we execute an Automation (RDA) on click of a button
Hi All,
i would like to know that whether we can execute an automation (RDA) from on click of a button, without using the Flow Action Pre or Post actions.

Hi,
the Flow action approach is working fine but the user don't want the flow action screen either in Modal window or in Overlay.

You mean user don't want to see the automation screens? if yes then you can hide them or use monitorall property of adapter.

Could you clarify your use case and why Flow Action doesn't work for you?
Potentially, yes, you can create adapter, interrogate Pega Portal and use specific events as triggers for an automation, but it would be more complicated and more fragile solution comparing to Flow Action.
