Can we directly run Hive queries from pega?

We can connect to Hadoop data-set. But we want to know if we can run Hive queries from Pega. Thanks in advance.

As of Pega 7.4, we can connect to Hadoop/HDFS but we don't have out of the box dataset/connector for hive.

I do wonder if it is possible to get some result by using Hive JDBC driver and try to connect via our SQL connector. This is certainly not tested.
