Can we adjust alert threshold per service or application?
Hi there,
If there is a way to adjust Alert per appliation or service. e.g. App A on a server may allow longer time for PEGA0001 than AppB. The same goes for PEGA0011 Service/Connect SOAP and REST for example.

I think this makes new app deployment more expensive since many servers to be procured, managed and run. Not so ideal for small apps to cohost. Not sure how others are thinking, but to me, it is not easy to explain to clients (more like the oversight perhaps with the overall design)

Hi Seri,
The threshold values for each alert can be specified on system node's prconfig.xml (takes precedence) or through DASS (ideally restart isn't required upon change)
As far as I know, don't think there is a way to have alert threshold values specified per service or application.

OK thanks, so we are looking at NODE /JVM level setting?.
If this is the case, when many apps with different SLA/NFR deployed on the same NODE/JVM we then have no way to fine tune the alert per app. In the worse case we could have one app / node or JVM, would this be the normal deployment. To me this is a limitation to utilize the PRPC node.
What do think?

i am not sure but then i think customizing the prlogging file with different application might work. Just a wild guess.
But again in general scenario, we have one app running on one jvm. (Atleast in prod).
