Can some one tell me difference between Association rule and joins in Reports.
Can some one tell me difference between Association rule and joins in Reports. Why should we use associations ?

Hello,
As per my knowledge when you can't achieve the result with joins then we can use multiple association.
For example, If you want to join Class A with Class C where you don't have a common column in them, then we use multiple association.
Ideally simple join and association are same.

Both Join and association rule enable report to present data from two related classes. However associationrules work automatically when a manager or developer is building a report.
