Can Pega Chat be embedded in a native mobile app?

Can Pega Chat be embedded in a native mobile app?

I believe Pega Chat is using Strophe XMPP javascript library for chat.
In android anything webbrowser related fucntionality can be loaded using webview component in android, and I believe ios may have similar container.

So, I'm making sure.
