Can OKTA be used for SSO in pega 6.3 SP1 ?

Hi Team,

Can you please let us know the SSO technology supported by pega 6.3 SP1?
Current we are using CAS for SSO , we have a plan to migrate to OKTA.

You best option is to upgrade pega to pega 7 and use SAML webSSO (OKTA SAML applications), which is supported by OKTA out of the box, very easy to implement.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the reply. Is it configurable in 6.3 SP1 as well or Pega-7 is mandatory for the same?
If there is any supplement document/link regarding these configuration, it will be helpful.

SAML/webSSO is only available on pega 7 platform OOTB. See this link from okta for configuring SAML applications: http://developer.okta.com/standards/SAML/setting_up_a_saml_application_in_okta. You can try this by creating a developer account (limited up to 3 applications) with okta and follow the instructions there: https://www.okta.com/developer/signup/
