Camera and work list icons/controls are not working in pega mobile app

Hi,

We have developed one mobile application and we tested with 2 IOS apple tabs and 2 Android tabs, but the application is working differently in each tab.

[camera working in one tab, but not in other tab and work list working in one tab but not in other.]

We downloaded PEGA 7 app from play store, but this app is not launching my application, so we tried with chrome and safari browsers.

I believe mobile app should work on all major IOS and Android devices, do we  have any PEGA compatibility issues with devices ?

I have developed my mobile application in PEGA 7.1.3 and I have included Pega-Mobile_mobile:07-10, Pega-Mobile:07-10 rule sets in our app stack.

Still should I need these hybrid containers ?

what I understand from above pdn links is "Hybrid containers will helpful to run desktop/web applications as a native applications for specific devices".

Hi Hanumantha,

Did you follow any particular article or guideline while developing this app?

As far as I know there is no more need of including Pega-Mobile ruleset in the stack that was old way of doing mobile development.

When you say "I have developed my mobile application" I hope you mean that you have developed a mobile compliant pega application and want to deploy it on mobile device.

If yes, then you do need hybrid container to run the application.

Also I will suggest to upgrade and use ML9 7.1.9 there are lot more mobility features which are available in ML9

Hi Amit,

Thanks for the your inputs.

This app is working as expected in some IOS tabs but not in some IOS tabs.
And we are not deploying on any specific device, we wish to use this app in either with mobile/tab browser or PEGA app.

If it is a live app, we can not ask customer to give his device specifications to build as per the his device specifications.

Kindly advice if any one know about it.
