Calling Connect-SOAP with “Execution Mode” as “Queue”

As per the PDN, the service response will not be received in case Connect-SOAP rule executed with “Execution Mode” as “Queue”.

Can you please suggest, any practical use case where we need to call Connect-SOAP / Connect-REST rule with “Execution Mode” as “Queue”?

Also, how to check the connector execution result, if Connect-SOAP/Connect-REST executed with “Execution Mode” as “Queue”?

Hi Abhinau,

Mode Queue is for the asynchronous integrations when you don't need to get the response to proceed forward. Like for example, you send status update to external system and it's not anyhow reflected in Pega. 

As for the execution result, you can't really get the result in the Queue mode. The only thing you may configure there is the error handling through the Error flow.
