New'ish to Pega, I have been made System Administrator.
I want to add a user who is a business architect but needs app studio and dev studio. I don't want to give them access to create new applications or manager users, but they can when I try and set them up. I just want to give them access to one sandbox framework in our dev system called SNB and nothing else, anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

I have one solution for restricting BAs from creating/Updating operator IDs.
for BAs you can create separate access group and ARO.
The chase here is , you can not hide operator creation UI from BA user, instead you will restrict them from making any changes.
Usually when anyone try to create operator ID or save Operator ID, then 'StandaradValidate'[@baseclass] activity will be called, In that activity Pega calls another activity named 'CheckForCustomWarnings'[@baseclass,Available] , This activity you need to save as in your ruleset and modify, and check whether the access group is BA's access group/ARO or not, if yes then you just set the error message saying "You need authorization to make any changes-Please contact administrator".
As error messages are there on the screen BAs will not be able to change or create operator IDs.
I need to do some research for restricting user from creating new Application, I will get back to you once i come to solution.
