BIX Integration Community Edition Pega '23
Hi!
I'm having issues integrating BIX with the community edition of Pega. I've followed the steps in this tutorial multiple times : https://docs.pega.com/bundle/platform/page/platform/reporting/enabling-bix-ruleset.html. However, I'm still unable to see the extract rule under sysadmin. I can't also find it when I search for the rule in the search bar on the dev studio.

1. Verify Pega and BIX Versions: Ensure that you are using compatible versions of Pega and BIX. Check the Pega documentation and release notes for the supported versions. 2. Correct Namespace: The extract rule should be created in the "Pega-BIX" namespace. Confirm that you have selected the correct namespace when creating the rule. 3. Access Rights: The SysAdmin user should have the necessary access rights to create and view the extract rule. Verify that the user has the "PR_SYS_RULE_ADMIN" privilege. 4. Rule Set: The extract rule should be created in the "BIXRules" rule set. Make sure that you have created the rule in the correct rule set. 5. Rule Name: The extract rule should have a specific pattern: "Extract_" followed by the source data model name. Ensure that the rule name follows this format. 6. Activity: Confirm that the "BIXExtractActivity" activity is also in the "Pega-BIX" namespace and that it is used in the extract rule. 7. Refresh Studio: After creating the extract rule, refresh the Dev Studio to ensure that the changes are picked up. 8. Restart Pega: Restarting Pega can sometimes resolve integration issues. 9. Check Logs: Review the Pega and BIX logs for any error messages that may provide more insights into the issue.
