Background processing nodes

In my application, I have 10 nodes out of which 5 nodes are configured for background processing. 

Question 1. when a standard agent having 100 items in its queue is triggered on how many nodes will the standard agent runs?

Question 2: If standard agent runs in all the 5 nodes, then if  an Advanced agents is triggered during that same time on which node will that run?

Please help me in understanding the concept its so confusing.
