API to Decommission a stream node

Do we have any API's available for decommissioning a stream node ?

Usecase : As we are on cloud environment and as per the policies (& other reasons) we have a need to frequently keep provisioning new nodes & decommission old nodes.

 

I don't see any available API in 8.4.1. but I noticed an article which says that Pega has built an API for the purpose (https://community.pega.com/node/1556726).

 

Was that API not exposed or did I miss anything in the API or can we raise an SR  or enhancement request to get it exposed?
