advantages/disadvantages with using distributed topic over topic

We are using pega 6.3sp1 deployed on weblogic 12c(12.1.3). We ll be upgrading to prpc 718 soon.

I wanted to know what are the advantages/disadvantages of using uniform distributed topic over normal topic.

In my opinion:

Pros: more scalable, load-balancing, more throughput (everything else being equal), fault-tolerant

Cons: maybe difficult to debug when something goes wrong. Harder to maintain and manage.
