Adding more time period for contact policy

In the below page its mentioned that we need to extend the strategy CheckSpecificChannelLimits , CheckSpecificChannelLimits inorder to add more time period for contact policy.

But these strategies were autogenerated when we save context dictionary right. 

So if we extend it without any extension points will it be overwritten when we save context dictionary again?
