Adding HTTP headers to SOAP

There are a number of posts regarding adding custom HTTP headers to Soap connection, however, the only solution has been a customization of OOB activity.

Are there plans to provide the ability on the UI to add custom HTTP headers? It seems pretty silly that more recent releases (we're on 7.3.1) do not have to ability on the UI / rule-form to add such headers, which are pretty industry standard. If this is not yet added to list of features to add, can it please be added.
