Hi,

Here are the high level draft instructions, there will also be a PDN article posted on this in few days:

1. Navigate in application explorer (in Pega developer portal) to the applies to class : PegaMKT-

2. Expand the Data Model--> Field Value and open one of the existing field value for example : Channel Email

3. Do a save-as of the field value with the id of your choice for the new channel into the applications "Rules" ruleset. Checkout the field value and  also update the desired description

4. Navigate in application explorer (in Pega developer portal ) to the applies to class : PegaMKT-System-Setting

5. Expand Technical-->Activity and open the activity named "SetChannelPropertyMappings"

6. Do a private check out of the rule and go to the parameters tab add the default value to the id/name you gave in step-3 (case sensitive)

7. Save the activity and run it once.

8. Both design time and the runtime should support the just added new channel mapping now. Confirm that by checking the new channel values in the Volume constraint and contact policy rule types.
