Active Tab is not getting updated.
We are working on CPM 7.1.3 on Pega 7.1.8. We are launching the work object from Java script using OpenWorkByURL. Initially the tabs were not getting displayed on top. After analysis, pega.u.d.refreshSection('CPMPortalRecents','','') helped us to display the tabs but the active tab is not getting updated. The Declare_pyDisplay.pyUIActiveElements is not updating the Active tabs. Hence we are not able to switchover tabs. The Active is on the Home Tab (Thread0) only. Any idea how to resolve it?

We fixed this issue. We opened the workobject and returned the assignment handle from the activity to the JavaScript function by doing a show-property in the our activity. Then did a pega.desktop.openAssignment by passing the assignment handle. Now the active tab details are getting updated and refreshed properly. Thanks.

Try the JavaScript function mentioned in the post.

Try to use run script [pega.desktop.activateDocument] as onClick event. Value '0' is to activate the very first tab
Refer the post with above suggestion.

We also tried activateDocument JS. That too didn't work. Actually, we don't have a onClick event. We need to open the work object from an external call using Java Script. We are using the below snippet to open the work object. When the work object is opened, the tab details are not getting updated to pyActive.
