Action parameter contextPage of type PAGE is Invalid under Generative AI---> Tools

while creating a Tool rule, under action tab I have selected below options
Category --> Automation
Resource --> Data Attached Work
Automation --> Attach Uploaded File
I am getting below error irrespective of Context Page parameter passing or not.

Action parameter contextPage of type PAGE is Invalid.
What needs to be passed in contextPage parameter.

In this case the error is not about the value you pass, it is about the type of the parameter itself. The built-in automation “Data Attached Work → Attach Uploaded File” defines contextPage as a PAGE parameter, but GenAI Tools currently only support simple types (text, boolean, integer, etc.) as action parameters. Because of that, the Tool rule engine always throws “Action parameter contextPage of type PAGE is Invalid” no matter what you map. There is no specific page name or value you can enter to make this work directly in 25.1.1. The practical workaround is to avoid calling this OOTB automation from a Tool and instead build a small wrapper (activity or data transform) that takes only text parameters, loads the right work page (for example pyWorkPage), and then performs the attachment logic using the standard APIs. You then configure your Tool to call this wrapper and pass only scalar values, leaving page handling inside your own rule. It is also a good idea to log an SR with Pega so they can confirm this limitation and track it as a product defect or enhancement for future releases.
