7.2 update blocked by hotfix

I believe they are from this hotfix:

so the question is simple, how do i proceed with the update?
do I have to rollback / remove the hotfix ?
I am updating from 7.1.8 to 7.2 using the command line tool.

You probably need to request a port of that hotfix to 7.2 if not already in 7.2, which is likely given the time sequence. In any case, a SR needs to be opened with GCS after your update.

the original hotfix was supplied as a result of this call: SE-26359
I have responded back (via email) to the original call requesting clarification of the hotfix status with regard to the 7.2 update.

this hotfix is NOT included in 7.2 (HFix-26359)
SR-A23754 has been raised to create the new hotfix for 7.2
the code will be included in 7.2.1, due out in June.

I used the force option and the update proceeded as advertised.
it did fail, but don't think it was related to the hotfix, I am review the logs now, and will as a separate linked question, if I cannot figure it out.
