Extended Support Reminder
If you’re already on Pega Infinity ‘24 or will be shortly, then you need not take any action. Otherwise please be aware of a few critical dates related to our Extended Support program:
- September 30, 2025, Standard Support ends for Infinity ‘24.1, at which point it will enter Extended Support
- April 30, 2026, Standard Support ends for Infinity ’24.2
- October 31, 2025, Extended Support for Pega Platform 8.8 expires. Currently, all versions prior to 8.8 are out of support
- On February 28, 2025, Infinity ’23 entered Extended Support. It will remain in Extended support until September 30, 2026
After the Extended Support period expires, Pega no longer releases patches or hotfixes to address bugs or security issues.
If your version of Pega software passes the end of Extended Support, you are out of compliance and you must update your application to the latest version and patch to ensure you are on the most secure, reliable, and feature-rich version of Pega Infinity.

Pega Cloud for Government
Please note if you are a Pega Cloud for Government client, your extended Support timetable may differ. Please review the Pega Cloud for Government Extended Support schedule.
Critical requirement for Infinity ‘25 release
Pega Platform '25 will only support the containerized deployment model. Migration to the containerized model requires advanced Kubernetes knowledge and involves planning and testing, which may take additional time. Ensure that you prepare ahead and save enough time and resources to complete the update to Pega Platform '25. Only Pega Docker images orchestrated with Kubernetes will be supported. Kubernetes provides cloud native scalability and reliability.

Pega recommends clients operating on client-managed deployments coordinate with Pega around your upgrade to Pega as-a-Service (Pega Cloud). Clients on Pega Cloud are kept up to date with the latest releases and receive the full capabilities that Pega has to offer, some of which are only available on Pega Cloud. Pega Cloud: Infinity 25 and above - Available only on Pega Cloud v3
Upcoming Requirements Pega Infinity ’25 Update on Pega Cloud:
As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering world-class capabilities, Pega is evolving how we deliver our cloud services. With the upcoming release of Pega Infinity '25, we are further evolving the Infinity architecture and services to best utilize these architectural improvements.
What’s Changing?
Starting with Infinity '25, new requirements are in place that will require Pega Cloud v3 architecture and thus be exclusively available to clients that are running on the latest version of our Pega Cloud services. This means that clients currently running on Pega Cloud v2 will need to update before they can access Infinity '25 and any future releases.

Clients already on Pega Cloud v3 are seeing significant benefits, including:
