How to display local actions in Pega costellation
Hi Team,
I have data fetched from data class(not work class) and displaying in a report , upon clicking a particular column i need to either display a pop up or show data in a expanded screen how to achieve this in constellation .

@Pavani_Regulagedda Hi, In Pega Constellation we will be able to configure the table with the columns but not able to do the pop-up and expand option while clicking on specific column value. To Configure the table in local action these are the steps:
1.Create the list view, refer the Dpage source with report definition created in data class

@PriyadharshiniG5431 @toboa I was able to achieve popups in table layout when i refer data from case type . My question is how to do the same for data classes where i have my custom primary key column.

@Pavani_Regulagedda Create a data object for your data class, then build a read-only view in that data object called DataItemDetails showing the fields you want. In your report table, change the clickable column to a link and set its click action to Open modal, choose the DataItemDetails view, and pass the current row as context so the modal shows that row’s data. If you prefer a larger pop up, set the modal size to Large and keep the view read only. For an expanded screen instead of a pop up, use a List-Details template: keep the table as the List and place a Details region on the right bound to the selected row. Configure the table to single select and on row click set selected item, which drives the Details region to show DataItemDetails. If you need a full page view, add a Navigate to page action that opens a dedicated details page and drops the row context into it. Make sure the data page feeding the table returns the keys needed by DataItemDetails and that the access role grants read access to the data class. This keeps everything Constellation compliant with no custom sections or scripts.
