Archival checkbox in case type settings
I m using pega constellation version 24.2. But I see the I can not enable the archival from the case type. I want to know the way if we want to archive How do we do in constellation?

Are you trying to archive cases created earlier in traditional UX app or now in c11n app? Are you trying to migrate a older traditional UX app to c11n?

@Chetan.Chaudhari It is new build on application on constellation. So in constellation I do not see setting to enable archival.

@KanchanC8890 and @LeelabiramS , even though you can archive in Constellation following the steps in above link, please note that c11n doesn't support searching and reviewing archived cases. That support is on '26 roadmap.
If you're creating new cases in constellation, they really won't need to be archived for quite some time. Is there a pressing need to archive and then search and review those cases?

@Chetan.Chaudhari Thank you for highlighting this point.
Our specific archival requirement is not immediate and probably would be the case in most situations, however I would imagine there "could be" customers with different requirements (or existing customers migrating to constellation). I believe, it might be better - and this would be beneficial to everyone - if limitations such as this is explicitly documented as constellation is still a maturing system, unless already documented and that I've missed it.
