Azure SQL database connection using Azure Active Directory

Hi ,

We are looking for connection to an external database (Azure SQL database) from PEGA using the Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) authentication mechanism (e.g. ActiveDirectoryManagedIdentity).

Could you please let us know if PEGA supports it and if you can share some example of it? PEGA version is 8.8.2 and its on PEGA managed cloud.

@DeepakS5 Pega Platform supports connecting to external systems, including databases, through various authentication mechanisms. However, as of Pega Platform version 8.8.2, there is no out-of-the-box support for Azure Active Directory authentication for Azure SQL database.
