Replace Kafka with RabbitMQ
Hi ,
We are exploring the externalizing the embedded services (Kafka, Elastic Searc etc) , Most of the systems in our organization using RabbitMQ for handling the messages, Can we use RabbitMQ for handling the events instead of setting up external Kafka?.
I know , Kafka is required for queue processors and data flows in pega , Is it possible to replace kafka with RabbitMQ .

@MarijeSchillern Thanks for providing the enhancement request . All previous posts related RabbitMQ are integrating with pega but I would like to know can we use the RabbitMQ instead of Kafka for Queue Processor .

@BRAHMESH@ many thanks for clarifying. I believe it cannot be used instead of Kafka.
Pega Platform uses Kafka for its Queue Processor and Stream Service by default. While RabbitMQ is not supported out-of-the-box for Queue Processor, you may need to implement custom solutions to integrate RabbitMQ with Pega. However, it is recommended to use the built-in Kafka support for optimal performance and compatibility.

Integration supports RabbitMQ through JMS connectors. This request is about replacing the underlying technology for the QP and stream features to use a different technology.
