SAML 2.0 Authentication Service implementation

Hi, we are implementing SSO Authentication Service . We have the all the SP details and idp details , When ever i am trying to hit the URL i am getting the below error .

 

Unable to process the SAML WebSSO request : Error authenticating user, contact administrator .

And also here i have a doubt , How the User credentials passed to the URL ?

Could you please elaborate it .
