Disabling Pega Overlay Button
Hi, How can I disable an overlay button? PS: Giving a when condition on the parameters tab and giving disabling conditions in the general tab of the button is not working.

Hi @DipanJ43: May i understand whether you need to hide the buttons / need to disable them based on conditions?
If need to hide, you can select "Hide the default action section buttons" in the flow action.
If need to disable conditionally, then you need to override "pyOverlayTemplate" in our specific class and need to give conditions. (Overlay templates is be using pzOverlayButton where the disable option is in the parameters tab of the button control)

@ArulDevan Hi, As I mentioned in my question I am giving a 'when rule' in the parameters tab (DisabledWhen) to disable pzOverlayButton based on certain conditions of the pyOverlayTemplate section. And I have overridden this section in my particular class as well. Still, the disabling condition is not working.

Hi @DipanJ43: The disable condition should work. Were you able to trace and check the result of your when rule at run time? It may be a context issue too.
