How can we fix the count of work queue cases

I have an issue with work queue cases count, When we see the count on the queue it's showing xy number, once we click on queue the cases count was not matching. 

ex: outside the queue it's showing some 8 number, once we open the queue we can see only 5 cases, i think queue is not refreshing. how can we solve this issue?
