Controls not simulating user actions. Raiseevents not responding in openspan
While automating the login process through Robotics studio, the interrogated controls are not responding to methods and Raise Events available in openspan.
Manual Process contains these steps :
1. The webpage has a UserName, Password input controls and Login button.
2. By default, the Username and password input controls are blank and Login button is disabled
3. When user clicks on UserName control, it shows a background text "Enter Username Here". Then username can be typed.
4. Similarly password can also be typed. As soon as first character of password is typed, the Login button gets enabled.
5 Click on the login button to see success/failure message.
Openspan simulation issue :
1. We can pass username and password using text property of these controls as sendkeys is not working. Sendkeys only works after I manually click on textbox. and then do sendkeys.
2. On Password textbox, In manual mode we see asterics only (*****), but through openspan, actual value becomes visible. On this control, I have tried all the supported events available in the RaiseEvent method's dropdownlist but none made the login button enabled.
3. Login buttons does not get enabled automatically on filling password.
4. Even if we enable the Loginbutton forcefully using openspan's enable method, the button does not become clickable. Hence PerformClick() or RaiseEvent(Onclick) is not working.
5. Webpage appears to be using Angular technology.
