New Search and Documentation Experience on Pega Community
Hello, Pega Community! You will notice that we have made some changes around our main Community search and Docs.Pega.Com.
You can now filter down your search by jumping to one of the grouped content type tabs, where you can then further refine it by product tags, capability, and more.
Not sure which content type you need? Not to worry. Searching the 'ALL' tab will prioritize content types based on your search term.
You'll also notice that the Docs site looks a little different. Last year we launched our new documentation site to provide a more customized experience for users needing to leverage Pega documentation; this is an evolution of that experience.
Alas, with all housecleaning and moving, there will be dust and there will be change.
Here's what this all means for you, and how I recommend proceeding if you find yourself stuck looking for a doc.
-
To find New documentation:
-
Use the main community search or docs.pega.com search for the latest version of your product doc
-
On the main community search, you can use the following dropdown menu to view the previous version of that topic:
-
Selecting 'Previous versions" will search the docs-previous.pega.com site with your selected article title.
-
-
-
To find previous documentation:
-
Search or use the product selector at docs-previous.pega.com
-
This site will house all published documentation for earlier releases until it is archived or migrated to the new docs site (NOTE: this previous content may not be indexed in the main community search experience moving forward)
-
Archived documentation is the same experience as before and can be found on docs-previous.pega.com
-
-
If you have bookmarked a link to the previous doc site, like 8.6 or 8.7 documentation, and receive a 404, adding '-previous' to your url.
