Change default document download name

I've been asked to estimate how long will it take to change our application(s) so that the name of the file is used when downloading an attachment (if that is even possible). Currently, when downloading a previously-uploaded attachment, e.g. "TestFile.docx", we use the OOTB functionality to view the file and the browser (Microsoft Edge) automatically downloads it as "!PS1__TABTHREAD0.docx". The ask from the Business is that PRPC uses the existing pxAttachName instead.

Is this possible in PRPC?
