How to close/overlay opened browser tab from pega ?

I have few HTML files which should be launched when user clicks on a specific link on the UI.

I have 6-link on the screen when user tries to click on all the 6 links, its opening 6 new tabs on the browser where as we need to close the previously closed tab and open the recently clicked link.

Currently we are using on click-> launch URL in window.
