Post Value not working on a Drop Down

Greetings. I am on Pega 8.7.0. I am trying to Post a Value on change of a value in a Drop Down list of values however value is not submitting to the clipboard. Actual requirement is to have a drop down in a Repeating Layout and On Change, value should be submitted to Clipboard (this is not happening). I even tried to have a field on a section in a work class with a drop down control and On Change --> Post Value --> Refresh this section but this is not working either. I can see this value in Tracer but not on the Clipboard. Any ideas on what i am missing here?

@KOMARINA We faced the same issue in one our projects (on Pega 8.7). We tried creating a new section rule with new set of properties and embedded the same in the calling section. It worked.
