Bypass History on Save is not working

Hi,

We have requirement to avoid generating history snapshot for data type. Tried to use setting on advance tab of data defination where we selection option "True" to Bypass the History Save.

But still its logging snapshot. Can you please help on this?

it is expected behaviour when 'Bypass History on Save' is set to true, you will still get history memo instances but you will not get instances containing snapshots of the data.

I.e. You should not have the XML data for the snapshot. 

So if a data record is changed, you wouldn't be able to open the prior snapshot to compare and see what is different despite having the memo entry for it.

Please verify the default option of Bypass History on Save post restart with clear cache
