DBMS0010: The database reached idle-in-transaction state during a query execution

Hi ,

We are receiving high count of DMBS0010 alert. Can you please suggest how to reduce this alert in system?

Error Description:

Database pid [XXXX] in state [idle in transaction] for greater than 5000ms.
