Mashup Authentication

Good Morning Pega Community.

We are facing a challenge with our current application when it come to security. Currently the design has a mashup embedded in a website that passes 4 parameters to log a user into Pega via the Mashup. Currently our security team sees this as a risk. What are some potential solutions we can use? Does the mashup support authentication thru the following methods:

1. Token Passing

2. Okta Authentication

3.????
