Macros corrupted unrelated Excel documents

Hi All,

I have downloaded the Case Type Backlog spreadsheet and I now experience the same problem as described here - Case Type Backlog Tool's Macros corrupting other Excel documents | Collaboration Center (pega.com)

All unrelated Excel documents try to run the Pega macros for inserting/deleting a row.   There is no resolution mentioned but a comment to Support Case Number: BUG-393403.    Are you able to share the resolution to fix this?
