Pega Robotics : Web Adapter Start Method takes time to launch in an Automation
Hi ,
I'm facing slowness in launching a web adapter using start method in an automation, can you please suggest areas of improvement in order to launch faster.
And also when we close the web application manually which is launched by the bot takes longer time to close as well.
Please assist.
Note : I created a sample project with only "start" method of a web adapter in an automation.

The below information will be helpful in commenting further on this behavior:
- Is this issue observed only with WebAdaptors or even with UWA/Windows adaptors as well?
- How much it is taking to launch WebAdaptor?
- Is this issue specific to one application or observed will all applications?
- Are there any recent upgrades/updates that happen to OS/Antivirus on this system?
- In some environments, antivirus cause slowness of launching adaptors
If this is not the case, I recommend you open a support ticket to analyze this issue further with help of log files.

- Is this issue observed only with WebAdaptors or even with UWA/Windows adaptors as well? [Currently we are experiencing with the web adapters start method]
- How much it is taking to launch WebAdaptor? [delay by few seconds may be 5-6 seconds]
- Is this issue specific to one application or observed will all applications? [All web adapter]
- Are there any recent upgrades/updates that happen to OS/Antivirus on this system? [Not aware of any specifics, but as per company policy there are frequent updates.]

@VarunK03 I have noticed on my machine that using IE does take several seconds longer than Chrome or Edge. While there might be something wrong with your specific machine, this may just be the expected performance of the application. I have not had much recent experience using IE, so it certainly does feel slow to me, however other users here may have more recent experience and can share their performance as well. You might consider opening a support case to have someone look at your system to see if there really is anything that may be affecting the performance.
