Optimistic locking feature supported in Pega 8.4.2

Hallo,

we currently use SQL Server 2016 set to pessimistic logging in the SQL Server configuration. Is the optimistic locking feature on SQL Server 2016 compatible with the Pega Platform 8.4.2?
