Application Settings - access from rules
Can anyone suggest the best pattern for access to Application Settings values outside of Connect- and UI? E.g. in When rules. Is the pattern for Declare_CachedDataSystemSettings still used, or is there a Public API method?

OK. After checking with colleagues I understand that there is a Data Page provided at 8.5:
- D_pxGetApplicationSettingValue.
Prior to 8.5 you can implement your own version of the data page (or reference the setting directly) using the R-U-F Utilities:getRuleSystemSetting(owningRuleSet, setting). The function is mentioned in the following article,
