Is it possible to turn the cache off in Pega 8?

Pega 7 had a facility to turn the cache off in the Service Management Application (SMA). Is there an equivalent in Pega 8? I am trying to eliminate some cache-related issues.

Thanks - I have that working but it only clears the cache. In Pega 7 it was possible to stop the cache from working. Has anyone found a way to do it in Pega 8?
