#PegaHackathon2020 Guided Tours for Navigation Links of Menu in End User Portal
Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to have a guided tour for each and every link in navigation of the menu.
.There is no Tour ID mentioned in the Advanced settings. Could anyone please help me out for this requirement?

Hi,
Thanks for your response on this question. How do we get the jQuery string on the menu item? Can we find it via inspect element? Will it remain the same every time?
As a work around, we have created a top level tour and explained all menu options as a paragraph but it is not giving the exact user experience we are expecting.

Hi Nizam - jQuery allows you to use any information in the element, such as id. Browser developer tools and inspect element are useful to find a good string to use. IDs used for testing are reliable. You can test to see what works. Good luck!
Hi Mounika,
The tour rule allows you to identify an element via jquery string which might help you figure out a path forward without using Tour ID. As a fallback you could always have a tour stop for the top level and discuss options deeper in the nav menu there.
