Synchronize ElasticSearch over to DR

Hi All,

During a DR exercise where we failover our SQL Server to another datacentre and then startup Tomcat instances also in another datacentre how do we synchronize the Pega Search Index directory?

We cannot re-index as this takes between 10-16hrs to complete which is not acceptable to the business.  So what is the best method of synchronizing the Search directories?

Just for reference after we shutdown tomcat on the primary nodes, we copied over the search index directory to each DR node and started Tomcat.  That appeared to work just fine, but is not ideal.  Is there a better way of doing this?
