We have a requirement to migrate cassandra from Pega 7.3 to Pega 8.4

Hi, 

We are working with a customer to migrate from 7.3 marketing to 8.4 . As per standard upgrade, Cassandra data wont be migrated(correct me if I am wrong). We are not storing customer records in DDS, no Event Streams are used in our application. We have modelling data but we will anyways move the pyADMFactory data set from 7.3 to 8.4.

What will be the challenges if we don't migrate Cassandra data from 7.3 to 8.4. One issue will be with delay learning but we will explain this to the customer. If the migration is mandatory, what is the best approach to do? Do we have any standard recommendations?  As I think there will be some issues with Cassandra migration due to different versions of Cassandra. Suggest me if my understanding is right.
