Updating the Job Scheduler in Production Environment
Hi Team,
We have recently upgraded our pega platform from 7.3.1 to pega 8.2.2. As per pega "Agents will be deprecated in a later release. Use Job Scheduler or Queue Processor". So we are trying to use the Job Scheduler or Queue Processor for our recent needs. We found that there is no way to update the Job Scheduler or Queue Processor in higher environment like Agent schedule.
Could you please let us is there any way that it can be updated like agent schedules in higher environments?

Yes, there is no option to modifying the schedules of job schedulers and queue processors.
The only way you can do that is by saving the job scheduler rule into the highest ruleset and then making the changes. I don't think you will have unlocked rulesets in Prod to perform this.

This seems to be that job schedulers not completely replacing the advanced agents as its missing the current Agent schedule option where we can directly update the schedule.
I see the only option to have unlocked ruleset in PROD to do this, but this expose the entire Job scheduler rule for modification which means that we can update anything in that Job scheduler rule which is our concern. Whereas in Agent schedule we can only update the schedules
