Adopt Open JDK support by Pega
We are planning to switch to Adopt Open JDK for our application. Currenty we use Pega 7.1.9, (Java 8u131-b11, and Tomcat 8.0.53) but potentially we might upgrade to 8.x.
Now we´d like to know if there is any support given from Pega regarding Adopt OpenJDK. We are already aware of the "Platform Support Guide" for 8.x or 7.x but these documents unfortunately don´t give any information on Adopt OpenJDK. Also I found the following posts which also don´t give a clear answer:

Can you please clarify if and for which version Pega can guarantee Adopt OpenJDK support?

Hi, here is the reply from our SMEs:
Pega does not explicitly test with AdoptOpenJDK or Zulu OpenJDK or any of the other variants, but the Platform engineers feel that it "should" work. Please move forward and do your testing (especially if you want to run this for mission critical applications); if you run into issues, we will work with you.

I have run some of the internal systems using AdoptOpenJDK on Pega 8.3 (JDK 11). Have not seen any issues so far but we have NOT run any exhaustive testing either.

We are running PRPC 7.1.9 and 7.2.2 on Oracle JDK 8u241 and Tomcat 8.5.5. In the last available platform support guide (Sep 2019), I dont see any support for 7.1.9 on OpenJDK and PRPC 7.2.2 supported on OpenJDK 1.7.
But I also see a note that "10. Tomcat does not bundle a JVM in its application. Pega recommends using either Oracle or IBM Java 7, at the Java vendor’s latest patch level (unless it is specifically stated that that patch level does not run with Pega 7)."
Does this mean if we are using Tomcat then we continue using Oracle JDK only?
@KevinZheng_GCS - Wanted to see if there has been any recent developments on support for Adopt OpenJDK for PRPC 7.1.9 and PRPC 7.2.2?
Since Oracle JDK is not free anymore we are planning to move to Adopt OpenJDK from Oracle. Any details on support for Adopt OpenJDK for PRPC 7.1.9 and 7.2.2 is appreciated.
