Post value and refresh this section changing context to top level page
Hi all, I have property in data level section and this section is referred from section which is from work class. Property is of type integer. Now when i enter value on UI for this property it doesn't reflect in clipboard until i perform save or refresh. On actions tab of this there is nothing. So post this to clipboard i am using post value or refresh this section on change. I also have to show a pop up on change of this property value so after refresh or post value i am launching the local action. The context for this local action is data class. But after refresh or post value on run time pega is looking for local action in work class. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I understand the problem your reported. Just need a small clarification on configuration.
After you add post value, Is that value posted to clipboard ?.
When you embed data class section into work class section, what was the configuration used.
I mean, did you use grid component and included the data section OR RDL or just embed section using clipboard page/property or something. What is the exact configuration.
This will give us clear path to isolate root cause and derive next actions.

Thank you for providing the information.
Using the info you provided, it seems that you have actions (postvalue/refresh-this-section and then Local action) on the integer property, So here the local action is failed to launch at runtime from data class, while design time it is accepted to configure. Right ?
So, you would see either an exception in logs saying Rule-Obj-Flowaction not found or it should pickup the flow action that exist in the work class if something exist with same name. Is this correct ?.
If your answers for both of the above questions are Yes, It seems a product bug to me. Request you to Please raise an SR.
If your answers are something else, please post your clarification here.
