Binary reponse automatically changes from UTF-8 to Base64

HI Team,

We are making a REST Connect call from Pega 7.4 application to get the Binary of a PDF file. We have test the service through postman we are getting the response in UTF-8 format where as within PEGA the response automatically changes to Base64.

What setting within PRPC drive this or is it something at JVM level?

Hi,

Can you set the JVM level encoding using the below java option and verify the scenario.

-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8

did you got the solution for this issue? Even for us, it is converting the binary data to base 64.
