Can we use savable datapage to insert entry into the local table?
Can we use savable datapage to insert entry into the local table ,as savable page is having source of lookup will it insert the record in data table?we are trying to achive this with datapage but it is not happening.
Could you please give some suggestion.

Yes, Mahesh. Question is- Is it possible to insert the record into the table using savable data page. Because if we try we are facing below issue.
We are getting an error if we use Save Data Page with source as lookup when we try to insert a new record. Error Message "Can not find an instance in the table." because the Data Page is first trying to open the record and then update it on top of it but its not inserting a new record. Please provide additional information on this.-

Hi @GouriShankarK,
No we did not get an answer for this and now we started using 2 different data pages one to insert record to table with data source set to dummy data transform and another D_ Page to retrieve the record using a lookup list. Please let us know if you find a different approach.

Not a good idea but.. If you really want to do this, call activity in data save options and use Obj-Save method.

@Vishakha Use the same savable data page remove the lookup and keep source as data trasform map the properties in the datatransform you want to insert into the data type.
