I assume you mean 8.0.1016. As that is really old, there will likely be some challenges. In my experience, you'll see issues surrounding the script container if you are using it as it has been completely replaced since then. In theory, Studio should upgrade your solution and projects with any changes that have been added and work fine. You will need to make sure that you backup your source code first as it will be changed during the upgrade. In addition, you'll want to perform a full regression test.
