unable to delete a row in grid repeat layout which has the source of report definition in pega 7.4

Hi,

I am using repeat grid layout to show all the records in a data type.

I am using report definition as source.

I have added delete item icon in the last column and added delete item action on clock event.

When I click on delete, total row is hilighliting, but I am unable to delete the row. I read many solutions but none of them working.
